3DS — additional verification when paying with a card online: confirms that the operation is performed by the cardholder. This is not a separate debit, but a stage before the payment is authorized.
Important
Before starting the procedure, make sure that your card balance is more than $0.
Information about the transaction-confirmation type for a specific card is available in your card's menu.
Depending on the card type and revision, confirmations are performed automatically, or the code will be available in:
- the notifications menu in your account;
- your email.
Go to the menu of your card - click on the green 3DS button to find out which operation confirmation method is connected to your card.
For example, if the BIN (the first 6 digits) of your card is 49***8 / 49***4, choose in-app confirmation (the second button) for 3DS. Confirmation will happen automatically within 5 minutes.
Important
The 3DS code is one-time and applies only to a specific operation. Never share it with anyone, including GoGoCard support.
